Al Capone
My name is Al Capone
Watch me walk this world alone.
I pull my pay from priests who pray
From girls with skirts up past their knees
And from men who wish to drown their dismay
In the profits of my speakeasies.
Pouring from bottomless kegs
Both my ambition and my bootlegs
Fill the loneliness only whiskey can.
A beggar man waves his jar for bread
He wears a suit of rags, each man is a beggar man
Or they are a man stuffed with lead.
For the beggar man comes with life at its dregs
Behind bars he begs and begs
I shoot a shot for his shot, for his troubles
For his lovers, my heart turned to stone
For his shame, I tickle the Untouchables
For my name is Al Capone
