Jaspurr and Blintle
I was begging all the time with nothing to do,
Asking my mom for a cat or two.
My dad said no, calling it a no-pet house.
My brother joined in to help my cause.
My parents finally told us we would each get one for Christmas.
October came along and granted our wishes.
We drove up to the vet to pick up the pets.
Mine was named Jaspurr and my brother’s was named Blintle.
In the beginning there was a lot of confusion.
The cats had lots to learn.
They had to learn their names and how to behave.
In the end they made a great addition to our family.
