No more healing hands
No more perfect soldier.
The war is over but the battle’s begun.
Angels and demons beginning to stir.

Your friend is unsettled.
He’s seen the battlefield.
He’s depended on you.
You wish he could be healed.

You think for moment.
He’s lost someone dear.
But you know that feeling
That’s all too severe.

You leave without warning.
He calls out your name.
You’re gone in an instant.
It’s all the same.

You try to go home
Try to take control.
Try to think with your mind
And not with your soul

You now meet a man
With a business like grin.
It’s a deal with the devil
But you let him win.

You crossed your own friend
And shook hands with the foe.
Like an angel you’ve fallen.
And brought nothing but woe.

You think on your sins.
You just want to die.
But who would have known
It’d be so hard to try?

Now fallen angel,
Walk like a man.
And just understand.
This is part of the plan.
