School Day
Waking in the morning
Face full of sunlight,
That is way too bright.
So I roll over and pretend that it is night.
Making some biscuits
Topped with some gravy;
Seeing how much I made myself,
That will be plenty.
Getting in the shower
To find no warm water,
So I finish my shower
And go to read Harry Potter.
I was being a fool
And forgot about school;
So I hurried and grabbed my stuff,
And was out the door
Getting to school
The teacher yells at me;
Then they said to me,
You now have a detention at three.
Getting through the day
Is going to be a pain,
But to my surprise
Most of the day just flew by.
As the end of the day drew near,
Everything seemed to be in the clear.
Lay down to go to sleep
Waking up just to repeat.
