John Brown and Slavery

The US was in peace.
We had slaves once
Then came John Brown and his crusade.
Tried to free the slaves.
He took over a fort.
Captured and was found guilty
Was hanged for his crimes.
Now John Brown is proclaimed a hero in the North.
In the South John Brown is not liked.
Peace turned into war.
One of the reasons why is John Brown starting freeing the slaves.
So there is now North & South.
