Mind Games
All the useless mind games you’re playing,
They’re bringing you’re victims out lost and swaying,
You say you are telling them the truth,
But yet you bury their roots,
You know they are lost,
You tell them their found,
For the change in their habitat they think good-but is it too profound?
You hide the truth and show the lies,
You’re like a comforting mother hen – or wolf in disguise,
They won’t turn their backs or go away,
Because each time they try with new and compelling others you ask them to stay,
They tell you their problems,
You brush them under rug,
You appear to be trying to solve,
Behind closed doors you laugh and shrug,
You have authority,
But no power over me,
You say you are logic,
But I don’t believe it,
You say no,
I say yes,
To you’re the very worst,
Because I’m the very best,
