It's Mine
I pick up my heart
Broken and cold
And cradle it tightly
As it's love unfolds
I pick up my smile
And hug it close
I whisper to it quietly
'I missed you the most'
I pick up my spirit
And pet it gently
Its warm and amazing
'Did you miss me?'
Finally, I pick up myself
Its dirty, but yet alive
I gaze at it longly
And realize that it's mine
