Watercolor
Eyes awake, heart and mind asleep.
I have to fake it, just to get through the week.
I can’t go on, I can’t be me.
I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be.
When you lie for a while, you forget who you are.
You start to leave home and go to the bar.
The more drinks I have, the less of the pain.
My life was a watercolor, now smothered by rain.
