Hopeless Love MAG
When lives overflow with disconnection,
hatred endlessly spreads like a disease.
Prejudice constantly blurs perception, rash choices send us crying to our knees.
Despair runs rampant, love being the last hope.
From sadness comes joy on one dismal day.
Two hearts find peace. In each other’s arms, cope.
But peace always leaves and war comes to stay.
Revenge makes death seem the final option.
One love’s life taken leaves two souls alone,
The forlorn mourner gives words of caution.
A plea for peace is the heart’s last moan.
The loss of a love cannot be erased,
but life without love would be a disgrace.
