Words unsaid,
With tear filled eyes.
Aching hearts,
And silent cries.

Reaching out,
My hand to yours.
Let me in,
Your closing doors.

In your eyes,
I see your pain.
Look in mine--
You'll see the same.

Darkness falls,
On us tonight.
I give in,
Just one more time.

No regrets,
And no more lies.
Spoken soft,
Our last goodbyes.

The author's comments:
I wrote this after a big fight with my boyfriend. Sometimes it just helps to write your feelings down on paper. Mine just happened to come out poetically...
