The Girl in the Background
The lonely girl never had a heart
Because she was scare it would break apart
If she gave it to another man
If he were to crush it in his hands
So she was cold and hard as ice
She crushed other’s hope in spite
Her heart was shielded, covered my wires
But inside was a burning liquid fire
She wanted to love, oh how she did
Though all she did was hid
Left alone in a world of her own creation
A bitter, scared, lonely nation
She perished, decayed and rotted
Languishing in the background, forgotten
