The Canary
Stop keeping tabs on me it’s getting old.
Remember it was you who tossed me out into the cold.
Lets face it we both need to move on,
This has been drug out for far too long.
Like a little canary you sang your tune,
And it’s those lies to which I’ve grown immune.
So sing, canary, sing.
I’m gone from beneath your wing.
No longer trapped by your grasp,
Your time with me has passed.
