Only for Thee
My heart, it beats, only for thee
It lives with you, in a city by the sea,
Your heart, it beats, inside of me.
My heart is yours, it beats for thee.
Come to my arms, my dear, my love
In your arms, I’m in heaven above.
Oh those times I shall often write of,
Those blissful times, my dearest beloved.
My dear now you are mine,
As for me--I am thine.
And our love is pure, so benign.
We’re trapped in this bliss divine.
You are my need, and my life
And in not too much time you’ll be my wife.
Ours will be years void of strife
You an me, together for life.
We’ll be happy, my dear
Each and every year
I can no longer fear
That my eyes will tear.
My heart, it beats, only for thee
It lives with you, in a city by the sea,
Your heart, it beats, inside of me.
My heart is yours, it beats for thee.
