What If?
What if success does not come my way?
What if my battle’s not won?
What if my road to triumph ends
even before it has begun?
What if my performance is poor?
What if I mess up on stage?
What if I loose to an opponent
who is lesser than my age?
These are some thoughts,
We frequently find,
Which before our valuable moments,
Invade our mind.
So overlook these thoughts now,
And have some fun,
Don’t think there isn’t a hope,
Before it’s really done.
They say 'Life’s battles don’t always go,
to the stronger or faster man.
Sooner or later, the man who wins,
Is the one who thinks he can!'
Most of the times, it’s not important,
Whether you loose or win.
All that matters, in the end,
Is the effort you put in.
Maybe you don’t win all the time,
But you always learn something new,
So go out there, Live the moment,
Work, toil and strain,
Enjoy, learn, improve, achieve and gain.
You really never know..
What if the moment
you cherished and waited for,
goes by and never strikes again?
