Just lay with me

I didnt ask for a fairy tell,
and I didnt toss change in any wishing well.
I just asked that you be with me,
that you stay tonight and keep me company.
Somehow I think I asked too much.
Yet theres not a part of me you didnt touch,
You kissed my neck and whispered into my ear
so I closed my eyes and I dissapeared,
and I pretended to be there just for you
but when I covered up boy did I loose.
cause you just got up and put on your shoes.
