A Wonderful Wondernoon
Give me your time and I'll give you mine.
I pray that I’ll see you at the end of the line!
Don’t look at the road, only focus on glass.
Sun’s coming in!
Pull over, let’s lay on the grass.
Though the dream-child fell down her well-
in this Golden Afternoon, who is to tell?
The flowers can talk here,
(though who’s truly to know)
Ignore the clock, my dear, please let it go.
It’s quite the dream, stay, watch it gleam!
The Willow Trees extend to the sky,
I’d say they must be three, no, ten miles high!
Don’t leave yet, beloved-
you mustn't go so soon!
My dear!
What happened to the Golden Afternoon!

Hello! This piece is about how when I was younger I felt enchantingly drawn in by Wonderland. I feel that as I grow older it still tries to pull me in but unlike my childhood I must deny it now. Thank you!
