Rumour has it
Rumour has it,
That sometimes death lurks nearby,
Her body radiating cold.
Like she's freeing you from this lie,
That we've all been told.
Like it's life giving you a last chance;
A minor miracle.
Like the feeling of being in a trance,
Or a throbbing in your skull.
But she's just a faint shadow,
So pay no heed to her.
'Cause for all that we know,
It's just a wild rumour.
