Suburban Sadness
A sea of suburbs, a trap, a maze
Caught in a cycle for all of your days
I feel like I'm slowly going insane
Each day I wake up and it's all still the same
I feel so stuck in this place they call home
Each day it seems that I grow more alone
I'm not quite alike but not different enough
Each day I spend here it just gets so tough
They all seem content, they all seem so fine
But each day I spend going out of my mind
How to escape? How to survive?
When each day is spent looking out from inside
