I change my clothes

Everyday

New clothes,

New me

I feel like I don’t fit in

I want to fit in

But I never can.

My clothes don’t help

I can’t change who I am

There’s no cure for this,

A neverending curse

Of mistaken identity

A change of clothes can’t fix this,

Maybe a change of mind can

Attire doesn’t define me

Who I say I am does

I hope people take away from this that, when finding your identity, it doesn't matter what you look like or what other people think of you. You define yourself. How you feel, and the person you want to be describes who you are. Dab on the haters. A change of clothes isn't necessary, but rather a change of mind. I am me.
