Destruction
She thought he would be the one to hurt her
Play with her heart like a game
But it was her who would be playing, what a shame
Always messing things up because she’s too afraid
Messy hair, brown eyes, wearing jeans that are frayed
This is the perfect description
Of an innocent girl with a personality of destruction
Always trying her best
Nothing more, Nothing less
Yet she’s still a mess
A true category five
Destroying countless lives
With great beauty and positivity
Comes such negativity
She doesn’t mean to
The last thing she wants is to hurt you
But that’s the only thing she knows how to do
So she’ll apologize as she pushes you away slowly
Until you leave like the others, leaving her in a self-induced state of melancholy

During the time of writing this poem I had realized my own self-destructive personality. I was so worried about getting hurt by another boy that I ultimately ended up pushing him away out of fear, as to avoid the chances. So this is like my message to people in my life to let them know I don't mean to push them away, but also taking responsibilty for my actions and regrets.
