Favorite Quote:
"Never regret anything, at one point its exactly what you wanted."

How do you describe pain?
Is it in the love you need?
Or is it in the ache you feel,
When that love is denied?
Is it the blood that runs,
From your wrist,
After cutting it open?
Or the cut made,
By someone you love?
Pain is those feelings,
Too raw to handle,
Swell and morph,
Inside your brain,
Causing unseen events.
Pain is that emotional scar,
Left to haunt your every movement.
Pain is the fear,
That crawls into your bed at night.
But above all,
Pain
Is
You

Pain is incredibly difficult to describe but you’ve done so extremely well.

I think it discribes pain very well. I definatley couldn't have written something about THAT kind of pain without a lot of time to half-heal myself. You need to read this book called "Lucas" by Kevin Brooks. It's all about that kind of pain and I think it kind-of matches the tone of your poem. I think it's easy to read about things like this and think "well, it's not that bad" but then when you're put in it, it's much worse that you could have ever imagined. I don't think emotions were ever meant for words, but I guess we can try. I like how "unseen events" can go two ways.

I love it - it's incredibly gripping, you use great imagery, and the questions you ask are poignant and touch all those who have felt pain. I only have one comment - instead of saying "unseen events," I would add a little bit more graphic imagery - concrete details - rather than a vague, general statement. But other than that, great!
