Body Stature
Some small, some large, some skinny, some wide. Body stature differs in our family but correlates to our personalities. My dad and I, larger than the rest, like the peaks of a mountain overlooking a city. We are the natural born leaders of the family and protect them like a herdsman guarding his cattle. When adversity strikes, we are the first to respond.
My mom and sister, average stature but above average personalities. Stronger than an oak tree in the howling wind, but softer than a freshly-washed blanket. Two of the toughest women I know. They take care of the people around them and love to be together.
My step family, small in size but large in character. They do the busy work of the family. Like ants, they never complain about work and often solve problems using teamwork.
My family, like all the colors in the rainbow, differ from each other in their own unique ways. But at the end of the day we still are one family.
