One step at a time
You can do it
A whir of emotions pass by
A voice in your head.
Say yes,
No,
Stop
What would your mother say?
A cloud floating by
A blackberry so juicy to lick.
It's so easy to find a needle in a haystack
Yet you can't dive off a cliff.

This poem was done after an assignment my AP Lit teacher told us to do. After I read this, I couldn't believe how depressing it sounded. I wonder what I was thinking that day?

Good job! I'm not sure what it is about, but to me the last line seems to convey not an impossibility, but something you can't bring yourself to do. It seems to be talking about temptations.

I'd love if you looked at my poetry. Thanks!
