All too often, people judge before sampling,
Trying too hard to cook to perfection.
Sometimes burned…occasionally over-done.
Adding more to improve.
Always critiqued, salted and peppered
Taken for granted,
Gobbled and gone.
Every bite savored with pleasure,
Emptiness gone with satisfaction.
Finally when finished,
Leftovers tossed out.
