W Happyfield Dr
Pink geraniums dance with the wind
and hope for another pink friend
Sprinklers pop out from the ground
like mushrooms after the summer rain
The red fire hydrant guards the block
and gets abused by every dog
A little blonde girl rides her shiny bike
and giggles at the bushy tailed squirrel wrestling with a nut
A fountain trills to a golden bird
A mailbox opens its mouth for the mailman
There’s never a fence selfishly dividing the residents
There’s never a window covering itself in shame
Each morning the sun’s soft rays awaken W Happyfield Dr
