It's a Love/Hate Kinda Thing
I love the way you walk
Long strides, confident, too good to pass by.
I love the way you smile.
Big smirk, hidden behind grace and charm.
I love the way you laugh.
At all the small things.
I love the way you live.
Carefree, satisfied, glorious.
I love the way I fell for you.
So sudden and so far.
From the first time,
To the last,
I’m wrapped around your fingers.
Am I still yours?
Am I still the one you love?
Will I ever be?
I hate the way you walk.
Away.
I hate the way you smile.
At someone else.
I hate the way you laugh.
At somebody else’s jokes.
I hate the way you live.
Without me.
I hate the way I fell.
And you didn’t stay by my side.
From the first time,
To the last,
I’m gone.
But there’s one thing I know:
I love hating you.
