Memories
I remember fondly looking back,
At that one golden summer evening where
she had worn a dress and smelt of lilac.
The sky began to fade and turned to black
I took her hand, and had held it with care.
She had worn a dress and smelt of lilac
She whispered, it’s just you and me now jack
Her fiery blue eyes met my long stare.
I remember fondly looking back
I took pictures through the lense of my kodak.
She had stood there with her long beachy hair
She had worn a dress and smelt of lilac
She sat down next to me and grabbed a snack,
Her beauty was sweet, and need not repair.
I remember fondly looking back
I wish that I could stay in this flashback,
Where there were no unnecessary scares.
She had worn a dress and smelt of lilac,
I remember fondly looking back.
