Book Covers
Darker shade or lighter shade
It’s all just a color
You wear them on your book
From plain to rainbow colored
What is in the book is different
Appealing to every eye
But we all see something different
And that’s what singles you out
The words are crystal clear
But they have a deeper meaning
Whether it’s black and white
Or full of pictures it’s still there
You may be totally into it
Or even totally out
But a book is still a book
And it’s still out there
Everyone is the same
But yet uniquely different
For they all have the same spine
Just different covers
And that’s what I am trying to say
That your cover is just a color
And we all have one
Written but still undiscovered
