Brightened Green
My eyes look on
Drowsy; gone
Gone from waking
Heart remains shaking
Shaking, of how long the ambulance ride
Would last; darkened skies running aside
With Time’s ticks
Seeming as if it picks
When to display the mood
Of riding, as far away as the ambulance could
Not gripped by sleepiness; I glance
At the glassy pane; an enhance
Of brightened green glistens
As if it listens
Illuminated, dark green
One of the brightest lights I’ve ever seen
Escalating downward; rising up
Formulating a Christmas tree-shape that had erupt
Triangular, bright; yet hazed
As the ambulance pulls away
Dimmed shadows followed
Ecompassing the ambulance; hollowed
I smile slightly
This memory pressed rightly
In my mind
My eyes remained encased
With the brightened green; yet soon became erased
