There was this cat,

There was this cat,
He was really fat,
Sat on a mat,
Loved to chew on my hat,
Chased rats,
Clawed on the doormat,
Was cute to look at,
He would fall flat,
He was nothing short of an acrobat,
And was so cute he would get laughed at.
