What is a Gift?
What is a gift? some may never know.
For it is not a toy wrapped up with a big bow.
Nor a ticket or two to see a new show.
Then what is a gift? do you want to know?
A gift is a friend, true to the heart.
Someone who will catch you when you fall
To share your secrets with, but never will they tell
They can make you laugh, no matter how sad you are.
That is a gift
A lifelong gift, a true girt, is a friend
