The scent of a book
The scent of a tale
I love the scent of books
That were previously owned
The scent is so wonderful
I want to close the book
The same instant I opened it
To preserve the fragrance
That another person left behind
Such a heavenly scent
A single book gives
A scent that reminds me
Of antiques
Ancient
Yet new
Beautiful to me
Distasteful to others
It never ceases to amaze me
