Poem of an Exuberant Writer
What I wrote
Makes no sense:
Letters that flutter,
Words that dance,
Syllables silently
Settling down;
Somewhere sentences
Form from nouns;
Periods stop my words
From running
(Punctuation is
Simply stunning!),
Commas keeping
Words from crashing
Hyphens help me
Keep on dashing,
Colons also
Help me list
(I'll insert one
If you insist :)
Semicolons, exclamations,
I do love my punctuation!
