Colorblind
I see no color-
but yet I see beauty.
Without color-
the world is a beautiful place.
In no way-
can one be better than another.
When there is color-
it is all that is seen.
Not character nor dreams-
for in this diverse world-
those attributes commonly go unseen.
Colorblind-
no color do I see-
Instead I view
the depths of the human heart-
and it is beautiful.

People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed
only if there is a light from within.
