When it Becomes Night
When it becomes night
My mind starts to race
I no longer have energy to fight
It's no longer light
My heart begins to beat at a faster pace
When it becomes night
Life has taken all my might
I'm spreading myself as thin as lace
I no longer have energy to fight
All the pain is sharp, like a bite
I'll write a goodbye.. Just in case
When it becomes night
Nothing in life is bright
I look for hope but theres no trace
I no longer have energy to fight
When I sleep I no longer have sight
Then I don't feel so out of place
When it becomes night
I no longer have energy to fight
