My name is Sophie. My mom got this name from my cousin’s friend at school. I was originally supposed to be named Zoe, but Sophie was just the right name for me. At home I usually don’t get called by Sophie. I get called Bubba. This name is a whole family nickname. It started with my auntie Brooke calling my oldest cousin Bubba. Then later i was born and I got the nickname. Even later, my little cousin got it. This will be the nickname that one of my kids will have. I have no idea where the name came from, but it has been my 2nd name for all of my life so why not keep it going.
