The Black Mass
The endless stairs,
The random black mass,
Startled in my path,
I take a step back.
Not knowing what to do,
I stop and look,
Seeing the rail,
I gazed down at what I took.
Not knowing what to do,
I try to turn,
But the black mass surrounds me,
I realize I’m at the point of no return.
Not knowing what to do,
I cower down,
I take a breath and think,
I’m gonna drown.
