Snow Day
As I peek out from under my covers,
The words "snow day" ring in my ears,
A smile spreads across my face,
Then I smell the scent of freshly baked cinnamon rolls.
I savor the taste as the cinnamon floods onto my tastebuds,
I change into warm clothes with many layers,
I run outside and I realize just how deep the snow is,
My boot sinks deep down to the ground, its wonderful.
I throw myself into the snow,
And begin to make a snow angel,
I carfully get up and look at it,
one word: Perfect.
We build a snowman
Then have a snowball fight
and soon enough we step inside
we embrace the war4m air and head towards the fire
our hot chocolate is soothing as it flows down our throats into our stomachs . As i sit by the fire I look by the couch. My backpack sits there lonely and untouche. I'm rejoicing inside, I take the last sip of my hot cocoa and I find that I still have so much left to do. :)
