darkkness

i awaken with a fright to find nothing but pure darkness closeing in all around me. i listen and hear the foot steps fallowing my breath i take. glanceing around in the drakness i see nothing but still hear the foot steps closing in on me.something is now moving at the end of my bed. i want to scream but something i making my throut close. with a great big screaching noise to eyes apear at the end of my bed. they stare right at me making me freeze in fear.with a swift motion i swich the lights on only to find out it was the cat staring at me.
