Reunited
We shared chocolate ice cream; it's my favorite flavor.
When I was with you, I was so happy.
Then came the time you were at my house.
We spoke words we didn't mean, acting like cowards.
I felt this was the end of our love,
but then you came over to me and entwined
your fingers in mine. The world was again colorful.
We shared a sweet kiss, and fireworks exploded: BANG!
My dog Bongo friendly licks you with her tongue.
I can now once again call him my baby.
