No longer will I feed upon conformity,
For I shall declare my self free.
Free to be...
None other than me.
A skittish crab upon the bay,
The laughing sun on a bright, warm day,
The cold water of a child's hose,
The single freckle of a baby's nose.
The random dancer in the street,
The girl you all want to meet.
The shady maple with a cool breeze,
The water snake skimming with ease,
The mushroom poking through the ground,
A cricket with my funny sound.
It's who I am,
Who I can now be,
And all because,
I declared myself free!!
