Favorite Quote:
&quot; If anyone, then, knows the good he ought to do and doesn&#039;t do it, sins.&quot; James 4:17<br /> &quot;Life is only precious &#039;cause it ends kid.&quot; The Titan&#039;s Curse

The little wiggle in your mind
The anthem in your brain
Tiny letters that you mimed
Driving you insane

The drip of honey on your tongue
The color in your cheeks
A snappy song that has begun
To squeal between your teeth

The tapping of your big right foot
The clicking in your ears
Imaginary throbs of pain
Bringing you to tears

The doctor says to let it out
Your mom says keep it in
Your friend just wants to know about
This feeling you call sin

“Will it ever stop?” You ask
“Will it ever leave?”
“I’m afraid that if I let it go
I’ll never stop to breath”

“A poet you say?”
“This is poetry?”
This feeling that has got inside
This thing that’s killing me?

“Let it out!”
They tell me now
“You’ll set your ears to ringing!

But if I start
I’ll never stop
You’ll always hear me singing.

This was an assignment in which we were to describe what poetry was. What better way to describe it than with a poem?
