I wandered lonely as a student
I walked lonely as a teenager
That walks on cement and grass,
When all at once a had a dream,
A crowd of my friends;
Onside the lockers, in front the classes,
Walking and running in the halls.
Everyday as the halls get louder,
As the students walk in every direction
Purple shirts come in a never-ending stream,
Along the lockers,
Many I saw in one glance,
Running their mouths in a persistant walk.
The people onside them moved; but in
A very different manner,
The array of colors is eye catching ,
Although purple polos are everywhere,
I still find the brightest pair of kicks
My dream comes to an end and,
I realize im just standing in the hall,
On a regular Monday morning.
