No one is ever forgotten
Your hands carry chaos
To dismantle this world of serenity
But our strength is your penalty
Because you can't seize our certainty
Of whom we truly know you are
For the truth is not far
You hold your head high
To disguise you on the inside
You hold temperance against tears
When ever life's battle field is near
You coward to the ground when in turmoil
You watch as your path starts to coil
Always lost and never found
While your book of reassurance starts to disbound
You march with a mask of stone down the battle field
Hoping that your worst fears on the other side will yield
Standing face to face with your confessions and the truth
They all unfold revealing sins of your youth
I know who you are because there is no hiding
As you stand there facing your chiding
All through life you gave up hope
And all through life you had no way to cope
Cope with the feeling of being forgotten
When you feel as though your ambiance has gone rotten
When you surrender with a white flag pointed toward sky
There are no more truths to deny
Because from your hidden nightmare you can awake
To realize that you alone were not a mistake
