Highway Patrol
There he sits,
In his patrol vehicle
Attentively waiting…
Watching…
For those who drive too fast.
A car races by!
The man turns on his siren when…
His legs begin to show the rounding of wheels
His voice screams a siren wail
His hands…the steering wheel.
Now he wanders that stretch of road
Waiting…watching
For criminals
Or those ignorant of the law
Who speed on his road
