Through All Rhyme and Space 7
On the other side
I hears him crying,
Feeding me pretty words,
But I knew he was lying,
He told that it's okay,
That it would be alright,
That he would find me soon enough,
Even in the dark of night,
He did find me one day
with tears in his eyes,
He burned up a sun
just to say his goodbyes,
He told me he loved me,
He told me he cared,
But one look in his eyes
and I knew he was scared,
But still I wait
with my ear to the wall,
Waiting patiently for him
if he returns at all.
