My Underland
Something about a smile,
Something about a sneer,
Something about a queen of hearts,
Something about my tears,
A knocking on my mirror,
A symphony of broken glass,
A boy with deep blue eyes,
Yet skin as dark as brass,
His lips were like velvet,
Soft and smooth and plush,
His silky skin giving way
upon my gentle touch,
His words were sweet and loving
like powdered sugar and summer nights,
Then he turned dark and cold
and dragged me from the light,
This cave is slowly giving in,
My knees are also weak,
I left my tears upon the walls,
and other bloody streaks,
My tears in puddles on the floor,
My screams soaked in by roots,
Replayed by flowers overhead
like gentle, cheerful flutes.
