Snow Waltz
Two friends walked in a snowy wood
upon a lonely Saturday,
not knowing what they could or should
begin to talk about or say.
“It’s cold as nuts”, said one at last.
“Why did we choose to walk today?”
“I thought that it would be a blast,
what’s wrong with being slightly cold?”
“I’ll tell you since you kindly asked,
I feel helpless, beyond control.
My second layer rides my crotch,
the gloves I wear are worn and old.”
His face as pale as butterscotch,
he turned and asked for a favor.
“I must adjust my groin, don’t watch.”
What a terrible endeavor…

I wrote this as a Terza Rima, although I really don't know why. I allocated a good deal of time and effort to this poem, although I really don't know why. Nonetheless, I am proud of it, although I really don't know why.
