Heros
How do the heros do it?
How do they get put through hell
And not care a bit?
How are they always so strong?
Even when everything goes wrong.
Sometimes when I am feeling down,
Or when I feel alone in the world,
And when I have a permenant frown,
I pretend I am a hero.
I'd rather be one of them than a zero.
In reality, everyone has the desire
To feel loved and wanted,
To be the person to admire.
Everyone wants to be that person,
And feel as needed as the sun.
