I got dumped today,
yet I received a bouquet.
“I love and loved you.
This is adieu.”
I am confused about the note,
which, to me seemed like a quote.
I don’t know what went wrong.
Was it doomed all along?
I can’t remember ever being alone
just that God awful smell of cologne.
But why did he leave me?
Was it because I kissed him?
Or, was that his brother Jim...
